Adjusting to Hearing Aids
If you are new to wearing hearing aids, it can be a big adjustment. Hearing loss often occurs gradually, over the course of a few years. You may have had hearing loss for years but haven’t noticed. You may not even realize what sounds you have been missing. When you receive your new hearing aids, it’s important to be patient. It will take some time to become comfortable with your new devices and to start hearing better again.

Hearing Aid Accessories
At New Mexico Hearing Aid & Tinnitus Center, we carry more than just hearing aids. We have batteries for hearing aids, hearing assistive technology, and accessories for your devices. Depending on your degree of hearing loss and type of hearing aid, you will need to change your hearing aid batteries every 3-20 days. We carry a large selection of batteries at our office. We also carry assisted hearing devices that can be used alongside hearing instruments to provide you with better amplification in complex listening environments.
